Commitment to Quality
MediLingua is committed to quality. This goes for the people, the process, the tools we use and the clients we work for.
By being accurate, fast and reliable we minimize your risks, making the process go smoothly. This is highly important when mistakes could not only cost lots of money and time, but also put people’s lives at risk. We take our commitment to quality very seriously. Our quality system is certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 17100 (the recent translation services standard).
Sharing our expertise for the good of others
MediLingua is a Gold Sponsor of Translators without Borders (TWB). This organization facilitates the work professional translators donate to humanitarian organizations. Our managing director Simon Andriesen has served on TWB’s Board of Directors and has set-up TWB’s Translator training center in Kenya. The center provides translation support and training for translation volunteers during crises (earthquake in Nepal, nuclear disaster in Japan, Ebola crisis in West Africa, European refugee crisis).
MediLingua and the environment
We try to minimise the impact our activities have on the environment.
We do so by:
- coming to the office by bicycle and public transport
- using recycled paper whenever we need to print paper copies of documents
- recycling all paper and packaging, including plastic, glass, batteries, lightbulbs and printer cartridges
- minimising waste and running our office as energy-efficiently as possible.
We currently hold an EcoVadis Silver Certificate for Corporate Social Responsibility.
